Pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 have the opportunity to attend a residential visit every two years, which takes place in the Summer Term.

The past two visits have been to Govilon Learning and Activity Centre near Abergavenny in Wales. The trip is usually for three nights and provides pupils with a fantastic opportunity to engage with the outdoor environment, challenge themselves, develop their independence and immerse themselves in activities which would not be possible in school. Such activities include gorge walking, rock climbing, canoeing and bush craft. During the visit it is always wonderful to see pupils increasing in confidence and pushing themselves to do things they might not have thought possible for them.

Details regarding the residential visits are sent out well in advance with places allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
